The Grubstreet Author is the Brewery’s sister venue and a hidden gem in the heart of the City. The venue is located on what was once Grub Street, an area renowned for bohemian writers, poets and print houses. This rich history has provided inspiration for the refurbishment and decoration of the venue: colourful, full of character and charm.

The Venue comprises three striking and distinctive spaces: The Sample Room, The Pasteur Room & The Cutting Room, each of them perfect for exclusive and intimate events.

These three spaces can be used on their own, or in various combinations.

• The Sample Room is a stunning space with a built-in bar and soft furniture, perfect for drinks receptions
• The Pasteur Room, names after the French chemist Louis Pasteur after his work on beer fermentation at The Brewery, is an elegant and modern space that can be used for drinks receptions or private dinners.
• The Cutting Room is a vintage cinema restored to its former glory with 48 fixed seats, making it the perfect space for meetings, briefings and private screenings.

The Venue is suitable for every occasion: conferences, meetins, awards, dinners, weddings as well as Summer and Christmas parties.
