The theme of this one day entertainment package is to teach the participants to be able to drive to a standard expected of the secret services. The day is run by professional military instructors, industry experts and professional racing drivers as well as Rally experts who will assess drivers’ performance and aptitude throughout the event in order to assess their potential to become an SIS driver.
Phase One: Caterham Powerslide & Pursuit Driver Training
Master the arts of rear wheel driving in the powerful Super 7. Learn to drift, slide, burn rubber and frustrate your opponent in this spectacular sportscar, with the tuition of expert drivers. These essential skills will teach you to out drive the enemy and win the pursuit.
Phase Two: High Speed Driving
You will be expected to master the power of any car on any given day. To that end your skills will be tested in a range of high performance cars to determine your ability to learn unfamiliar vehicles and negotiate new corners. Learn the advanced techniques required to control these cars and become an expert driver.
Phase Three: Anti Skid & Evasive Driving
The State of the art skid cradle allows the instructor to simulate a near infinite variety of vehicle handling characteristics (understeer/oversteer) and different levels of grip as experienced during changing weather conditions on the road. The skid car is deployed on the ‘high speed’ course which enables drivers to really experience the sensation of varying levels of grip and how to adapt to it quickly.
‘Skid’ Control
With a heightened awareness of how road surfaces affect grip and first hand experience of skids in a safe environment; you will learn to handle any vehicle in a smooth/controlled style.
Evasive Driving Course
Introduction by the instructor to the fundamentals of car control, steering techniques, braking techniques and controlled acceleration.

0930 – Pursuit driving, covert manoeuvres, emergency procedures.
1230 – Lunch
1330 – Evasive / counter surveillance driving, car combat, close quarters, all-weather driving.
1700 – Track activity ends

Height and weight restrictions may apply to certain activities. All applicants must be over 18 and held a Driving Licence for a min 1 year.
