Special directions
Leave the M25 at J28. Take the A12 signposted to East Anglia. Follow signs to Colchester (approx 40 miles). Take Colchester Central turnoff (A133) to roundabout. Take the second exit towards town centre. At the next roundabout take third exit to town centre. At the next roundabout take second exit. Go on to the traffic lights. Then turn right up to the top of the hill. Bear left to the High Street where the Red Lion Hotel is half way up on your right hand side.
