Too busy to party in December, we have created a pre and post Christmas party on board the Silver Fleet. Available before 5pm in November 2008 and all day in January 2009.

Christmas 2007 Menu

Starter

Warm pumpkin and aged gruyere tart with bitter winter leaves, caramelised walnuts, apple crisps and mulled cider vinaigrette

"rhubarb's" house baked breads and unsalted butter

Main Course

Roasted breast of Gressingham duck breast glazed with chestnut honey, rösti potato, citrus spiced red cabbage, pot roasted root vegetables, and a port and juniper jus

Dessert

“rhubarb’s” Christmas sundae
A trio of seasonal ice creams to include: Christmas pudding, Armagnac, and stem ginger, served with a compote of caramelised clementines and an almond tuile

Christmas spiced cookies, mulled fruit jellies, glittered peppermints, chocolate whiskey fudge and champagne truffles
