NYE 2007 - 2 Night Break At Cliveden - Berkshire

New Year at Cliveden is simply magical. In the crisp December air, the warmth of the roaring fire in the Great Hall, the giant Christmas tree and abundant decorations have never looked so inviting. From the moment you arrive along the spectacular torch-lit drive, you are welcomed as a very special guest of a great country house. Cliveden continues the English tradition of roaring grand fires, elegant decorations; of beautiful luxurious bedrooms and gourmet eating and drinking.

30th December 2007
A warm welcome greets you with afternoon tea served to a piano accompaniment in the Great Hall. Early evening presents the opportunity for a fascinating wine tasting with our knowledgeable Head Sommelier, followed by a three course dinner in the Terrace Dining Room. (dress code: jacket and tie)

New Year's Eve
31st December 2007
A hearty breakfast is followed by a day of leisure. Later you can enjoy our afternoon tea served in the Great Hall. Early evening join fellow guests and non-residents for a Champagne and canapé reception followed by a four course gourmet dinner with fine wines chosen by our Head Sommelier. (dress code: black tie) After dinner the revelry continues with dancing to a live band or have a flutter on the Black Jack and Roulette tables. New Year itself is seen in with a traditional Scottish piper playing Auld Lang Syne, followed by a late supper for truly hardy party-goers!

New Year's Day
1st December 2008
Awake at leisure and enjoy a buffet brunch. It may be time for you to depart or why not stay and savour the holiday feeling. Special rates are available for guests wishing to extend their stay into January, and perhaps indulge in the luxurious treatments on offer in the Pavilion Spa.
