The Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2010
2010 is the Diamond Jubilee celebratory year of Edinburgh's Royal Military Tattoo. Once again Edinburgh Castle is the venue for the 60th anniversary event and in 2010 there will be performers from over 40 countries, with a live audience of 217,000 with one third being visitors from overseas, a worldwide television audience of 100 million across 30 countries - which all combine to create a unique international event.
The event this year runs from 6th August to 28th August. The shows starts at 9pm Mondays to Friday, and on Saturdays there are 2 shows at 7.30pm and 10.30pm. Each show will last an hour and a half. There are no performances on a Sunday.
