Christmas Eve
Monday 24th December 2007
Arrive on Christmas Eve and begin to unwind with a traditional afternoon tea served in the Sun Lounge or by the roaring Open Fire, as we transfer your luggage up to your rooms.

The evening will start with a candlelit Champagne and canapé reception where you will have the chance to meet other house guests. You will be joined by the management team of the Rusacks before enjoying some of Scotland’s finest produce in out 3 course dinner Old Course Restaurant, prepared by our award winning chef Drew Heron. After dinner you can attend a local church service, in the historic town of St Andrews and return for a cup of hot chocolate and mince pies before retiring.
Christmas Day
Tuesday 25th December 2007
Begin Christmas morning by checking under the Christmas tree in the lobby to see if Santa has been! After breakfast you can work up an appetite for lunch by walking along the West Sands beach where some of the scenes from the film Chariots of Fire were filmed.

Traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings will be served in the Old Course restaurant. After lunch, relax in the lounge with other house guess where you can enjoy some traditional board games. For those looking for a breath of fresh air we suggest a stroll over the Golf Course. In the evening a light buffet dinner will be served in the restaurant.

Boxing Day
Wednesday 26th December 2007
Boxing Day begins with breakfast, leaving the day free to explore your surroundings or relax in the hotel. Explore historic St Andrews or head to the nearby Overgate Centre in Dundee to splash out on the Boxing Day sales. Perhaps check out the Byre Theatre’s Christmas show, brace the elements for a game of golf or stay in comfort closer to home.

On your return, tea and coffee will be served in the drawing room with traditional Christmas cake. Later gather for pre dinner drinks and enjoy a relaxing three course dinner in the Old Course restaurant.

Thursday 27th December 2007
The following morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before saying your farewells and a safe journey home.
