Christmas Eve
Monday 24th December 2007
Arrive at the Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa on Christmas Eve, where the warmest welcome awaits you, your family and friends. The house party starts with a traditional afternoon tea served in the elegant seaview lounge and drawing room.
The evening will begin with canapés in the lounge and bar whilst enjoying the local choir singing your favourite carols, followed by dinner at your leisure in the Craigleith Restaurant. Then join with fellow guests attending a local church service- transport will be on hand. On your return, hot chocolate and freshly baked mince pies will be served to warm you on your way to bed.
Christmas Day
Tuesday 25th December 2007
On Christmas Day, your host will be waiting to hand out gifts from under the tree. During the morning you can feel free to enjoy a stroll along the beach, or just relax and soak up the atmosphere. A festive family buffet lunch menu will be available in the Bass Rock Suite with entertainment provided for children. After lunch, enjoy movies and board games in Library and Drawing Room or just relax in front of a roaring log fire. In the evening, our Chefs will present a gala buffet, featuring the finest local produce to be taken at your leisure.
Boxing Day
Wednesday 26th December 2007
After breakfast on Boxing Day, our Concierge team will be on hand to assist you with your days activities:maybe a day at the Musselburgh races, hike up North Berwick Law, sale shopping in Edinburgh, or simply a stroll around North Berwick.
For those of you who are staying with us for three nights the party continues in the evening with champagne cocktails served in the Drawing Room & Library to the sound of our harpist followed by a 3 course dinner in the Craigleith Restaurant, accompanied by wines and liqueurs from around the world.
Thursday 27th December 2007
On the morning of Thursday 27th a late leisurely breakfast is served before saying our goodbyes.

Children may share a Family room for only £70 per child for two nights or £95 per child for three nights (ages 5 - 11 inclusive).
If children require their own room it is £195 per child for two nights, alternatively £285 per child for three nights.

By Road
From A1 (Southbound)
From the A1, take the A198 (signposted North Berwick), once in North Berwick, take a left at the traffic lights, then second right onto Cromwell Road.
From A1 (Northbound)
Follow the A1 (Northbound) and at the junction with the A198 turn right onto the A198. Follow the A198 for approximately 7.5 miles and take the second exit at Dunbar Road roundabout onto the A198 (Dunbar Road). Continue along Dunbar Road and take the third left turn to remain on the A198 (St. Baldreds Road). At the T-Junction with the B1346 and the A198 continue straight ahead onto York Road which changes to Cromwell Road. We are located on the right hand side of Cromwell Road

North Berwick train station is approximately 5 minutes walk.
By Air
Edinburgh Airport is approximately 50 minutes drive.
