The phrase 'Cirque de Lumière' means 'Circus of Light' and the production pays tribute to the skill and innovative displays of the hand-picked cast, seamlessly supported by a spectacular light show...
On entering the venue, beautifully costumed acrobats and artists guide you through a bizarre journey of memorizing sights that instil a sense of true festive celebration. You are beckoned to banish your coats to the cloakroom as you feel the atmosphere already start to heat up. Bizarre stilt creatures stand next to a beautifully lit Christmas tree which towers up towards the atrium ceiling draped in thousands of twinkling fairy lights. Lightly frosted Christmas trees line the atrium lit in dramatic blues and greens as occasionally swirls of light flash over head.
Just as you are given sight of a traditional Christmas scene you realise all may not be as it seems as you are beckoned through to continue on a journey much less ordinary! As you are allowed to continue your passage, your expectation reaches even greater heights….
